About the Candidate
Omoba Kasali Adeboye Yusuf is a proud son of Itele in Ijebu East, one of the most historic towns in Ijebuland, where tradition holds that Obanta himself rested before founding Ijebu-Ode. Raised in the values of community, enterprise and service, he carries the title Omoba, prince, not as a privilege but as a responsibility to his people.
He is the All Progressives Congress candidate for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ijebu East State Constituency, standing on the party's Mission to Rebuild alongside its state and national ticket. His candidacy is bigger than politics: it is about fairness, inclusion and giving every community in Ijebu East a genuine sense of belonging, from Ogbere to Itele, Ajebandele to Imobi, Ijebu-Imushin to Ijebu-Ife.

The Moment in History
Itele is woven into the founding story of Ijebuland itself: the town where Obanta paused on his journey from Ile-Ife to Ijebu-Ode. Its schools date back to 1898; today it hosts a university. Few communities have given so much, for so long.
For decades, Itele has contributed to the growth of Ijebu East in population, in commerce and in culture. Yet it has never once produced a representative at the Ogun State House of Assembly. Every era has passed the town by. Until now.
Omoba Kasali Adeboye's emergence as the APC candidate is more than a nomination. It is a historic chance for fairness, equity and inclusion. With brothers and sisters across all eleven wards standing together, Ijebu East can break the jinx.
The time has come for unity. The time has come for Itele. Ewe soooo!
Mission to Rebuild · The Agenda
A member of the House of Assembly has three jobs: make laws that improve lives, hold government to account, and pull development home to the constituency. This is how Omoba Kasali Adeboye will use all three for Ijebu East.
One Ijebu East, eleven wards, zero communities left behind. A constituency office that rotates open days through every ward: Ogbere, Itele, Ajebandele, Imobi, Ijebu-Imushin, Ijebu-Ife and beyond. Every voice reaches the Assembly, regardless of party, faith or family name.
Education and youth first: champion better funding for public schools across the constituency, push scholarship and skills programmes for Ijebu East students, and bring digital and vocational training centres closer to home, so our young people build their future here, not elsewhere.
Ijebu East is Ogun's largest local government, rich in cocoa, palm oil and timber, yet rural roads still cut farmers off from markets. He will fight for farm-to-market road rehabilitation, functional primary healthcare in every ward, and honest oversight so budgeted projects actually get delivered.
Jobs follow investment. He will work with the state government and private sector to unlock Ijebu East's agricultural value chain, support market women and artisans with access to credit and empowerment programmes, and make the constituency a destination for agro-industry.
